This Privacy Policy explains how Flitfast ("Flitfast", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit flitfast.com or use our data migration platform (the "Service"). We are committed to processing data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, work email, company, and billing details you provide when creating an account or requesting a quote.
- Migration data — the records you transfer between connected tools. We process this data solely to perform the migration you request.
- Usage data — log data, device information, and analytics about how you interact with the Service.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including performing migrations you initiate;
- Validate data integrity through hash-based checks and enable one-click rollback;
- Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates;
- Improve the Service, develop new features, and ensure security and fraud prevention.
3. Migration data handling
Data you migrate is processed on a transient basis. We retain migration data only as long as necessary to complete the migration and to support the one-click rollback window. After that period, migration data is permanently deleted from our systems unless you instruct us otherwise in writing.
We act as a data processor with respect to migration data and act only on your documented instructions. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
4. Data security and hosting
The Service is hosted on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We implement technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and OAuth-based connections so that we never store third-party credentials in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry best practices.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with sub-processors who help us deliver the Service — including our cloud hosting provider — with your connected tools as required to perform a migration, or where required by law.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data remains protected. You can choose the region in which your migration is processed to support your data residency requirements.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
